Position Description




JOB SUMMARY:

The Assistant Manager in Human Resources partners with the AVP and VP of HR to ensure all Professional Products Division's Human Resources objectives and initiatives are met and aligned with strategic business objectives. Also provide HR generalist support to client group(s) on a daily basis including employee relations, recruitment and integration, policy enforcement and performance management. Ensure all administrative processes for the department are managed in a timely and accurate manner




JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Manage the recruitment process positions as assigned by the Heads of HR.

· Partner with Corporate Talent Recruitment team to ensure a pipeline of talent that will generate quality candidates in a timely manner and provide guidance to operating management in recruitment and selection.

· Utilize Peoplefluent for recruitment processing and electronic resume tracking within corporate guidelines.

· Manage full cycle of new hire process: offer letters, conduct and coordinate new hire orientation programs and trainings; new hire orientation kits; computer set-up; process background and credit checks on candidates

· Work with HR Management team to resolve wide variety of employee relations issues.

· Conduct exit interviews with terminating employees as requested, to ensure the proper administration of the exit process and uncover issues that need to be addressed.

· Communicate on a daily basis with employees in resolving personnel related issues. Counsel on and interpret human resources policies. Provide guidance to employees and supervisors on such matters as disciplinary actions, benefits, payroll and other company policy related issues.

· Handle confidential assignments and special projects as assigned by Director and/or VP of HR

· Work with HR team in yearly projects such as Salary Exercise, Talent Review , Affirmative Action Plan (AAP), MAP, My Learning enrollmentsAbility to interface effectively with every level of employee and management

· Excellent administrative individual who is well organized and can handle a multitude of assignments simultaneously.

· Must display a high degree of sensitivity in dealing with employees' work related concerns and problems.

· Make personnel decisions in sensitive areas using discretion, sound judgment and an assessment of the situation in order to formulate a valid resolution.

· Must have a sense of urgency and service orientation, with a high level of flexibility and responsiveness required.






JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor degree and 3 years minimum relevant experience required.

Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, HRIS (with ability to learn internal systems).
