Description




Do you have a strong understanding of UX, UI and Human Factors practices? Do you enjoy working with a variety of projects and with business owners who are integrating UX into in-flight product development programs? Does shoulder-to-shoulder hands-on work and sharing a natural enthusiasm for UX come naturally to you? Intel�s Corporate Platform Office (CPO) is seeking a qualified User Experience Integration Engineer to join the Business Solutions Services (BSS) team. The selected candidate will work closely with BSS teammates to assist business partners as they adopt UX best practices and to collaborate with business partners as the integrate UX best practices into product development.




In this role, you will represent the end user point of view while supporting business partners. Your understanding of various customer research methods including high-fidelity usability testing and gathering usage requirements to translate into business goals will be a great asset to business partners engaged in UX-driven product development. You will be a key contributor to the development of UX training and development websites.




Specific Duties:




Work shoulder-to-shoulder with business partners and assist in the translation of UX needs into business and/or product development practices and requirements.




Collaborate with BSS business partners on product development projects as they move from approved concepts to product implementation.




Assist in and provide guidance during usability testing, user experience assessment, competitive UX landscape analysis and work closely with CPO UX Program Manager to evangelize CPO UX Enabling Strategy




Help business partners to convert iterative testing and assessment information into go/no-go product development decisions




Assist in developing methods and practices documentation.




Collaborate with UX experts across the company to create UX examples to add to our UX methods and practices repository




Qualifications




College Student with 2 + years professional experience in UX research and/or product development




Targeting people working on bachelor's degree or equivalent in HCI, Graphic Design, Human Factors or related field. Advanced degree preferred.




Experience with contextual research methods, interviewing, survey development, observational research, usability testing, and other qualitative and quantitative methods for collecting consumer needs and understanding experiences.




A demonstrated ability to maintain a current understanding of the user experience field and dedication to fostering this understanding with business partners and organization as a whole.




Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.




Collegiate nature to broaden individual and team collective UX knowledge and to drive theory and practice in ongoing business engagements




Entrepreneurial spirit and an egoless nature




Sense of humor
