Marketing the Venue
Work with the GM and the BDM to create a proactive sales & marketing plan ensuring that all relevant markets are included and that all appropriate channels are used.Maintain and update the website including monthly blogs, press releases, competitions and menu of the month using an integrated content management system
Write and execute a digital marketing strategy using Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin, Flicker and other suitable media
Compile and edit the two monthly newsletters and distribute newsletter to the database
Create monthly e shot with designer and ensure distribution to the full database
Liaise with our PR company regarding press releases and other PR opportunities. Assist GM in maintaining a regular flow of PR stories and attend bi monthly meetings with PR agency
Assist with the writing of editorial for press releases, creating news worthy stories for various trade publications and online media
Organise the exhibition stand for various trade shows i.e. IMEX, Square Meal and The Meeting Show
Organise and submit advertising copy to various publications ensuring deadlines for all adverts are met
Regularly update the competitor analysis report including introducing new and relevant competition
Attend various trade exhibitions and networking events
Compile reports including website statistics and market segment report and Google analytics
