•To compose compelling, consumer/ client focused and on-brand copy for Design, Nokia partners and external audiences.
•To work alongside the Key Messages Art Director and Marketing Leads on projects from early concepting phase and push the ideas through to copy.
•To develop creative strategies and messaging that will advance Design's objectives in positioning their work.
•To work with all groups across Design, ensuring good communication, fostering a collaborative design culture and cross pollination of ideas.
•To facilitate workshops across Design in order to craft a narrative for the complete product story.
Responsibilities
•Identify the key messages and craft narratives that tell the right stories for specific contexts and audiences.
•Make sense of the complexities of design to sell ideas in a simple, consumer centric Nokia tone of voice.
•Think beyond type to exploit the most compelling medium and appropriate form of message delivery.
•Contributing to new concepts and working with creative teams on new ideas.
•Establish overall work process and standards for producing copy within Design.
•Work with Design Key Messages team members to establish work processes and creative strategies.
•Responsible for elevating the Design Key Messages team as an impactful asset for Nokia.
•A hands on pro-active member of the Design Key Messages team.
Qualifications
Degree, or similar, in English Language, Advertising Communication or other writing-related course preferred.
6 years+ experience that clearly shows a successful track record of copywriting and concepting, including experience in digital channel.
Experience in, and enthusiasm for, a broad range of copy - online and offline, including DM, ad campaigns, HTML/rich media emails, online campaigns, micro-sites, websites or mobile.
Experience of nurturing client relationships. Clear understanding and experience of the digital media.
Experience in advertising, journalism or web editing valuable.
Experience of presenting to clients, with clear and productive communication of ideas, concepts and visuals.

Clear understanding and enthusiasm of the Nokia brand and the tone of voice.
Excellent copywriting skills in a wide variety of styles, tones and applications.

Well-developed concepting skills with ability to generate creative ideas and copy from scratch.
Demonstrate a very high level of initiative and resourcefulness to drive consistently effective solutions despite lack of time or resources.
Handle significant pressure with grace, can be assertive when necessary.
Excellent research skills with an interest in latest trends and design material.
Ability to write to deadline, planning work in advance to ensure on-time delivery
Able to support the facilitation of creative brainstorming and ideation sessions.
