IBM Cloud Labs located in the Silicon Valley Laboratory is a leader in developing Cloud technologies. For the last five years the team has been developing PoC and PoT in the Cloud space and has been the forerunner to IBM's Cloud Burst technology. As an IBM application developer, you will team up with some of the best minds in the industry to create innovative high quality cloud computing solutions focused on customer's business needs. Here, you'll cultivate and use your in-depth knowledge of leading edge technologies to address customer's requirements and help build better products for IBM.
There's more. You'll offer guidance on design and implementation approaches, while helping to identify (and avoid) potential problems, to ultimately ensure the success of solution construction, implementation and system integration.

Required
High School Diploma/GED
Basic knowledge in Java/J2EE, Shell scripting, SQL, XML, DOJO, PHP, etc
Basic knowledge in Linux/Windows systems administration and configuration skills
Basic knowledge in problem solving
Readiness to travel 10% travel annually
English: Fluent
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
At least 6 months experience in Java/J2EE, Shell scripting, SQL, XML, DOJO, PHP, etc
At least 6 months experience in Linux/Windows systems administration and configuration skills
Basic knowledge in Virtualization concepts and technologies; in particular VMWare, KVM, Xen
Basic knowledge in Networking: Core IP routing/VLAN concepts and implementation
