Position Description
The
systems integrator has to have the required knowledge to manage the
SIEM system (develop collectors and Implement changes, fixes, updates,
for any component of the system). In addition, he/she should manage and
maintain all components of the SIEM systems (application manager
software and hardware, event and flow collector software, agents,
retention appliances, write/review/enhance correlation rules and
maintain the correlation engine). The consultant should also be able to
integrate SIEM with third party tools and products. The system
administrator is responsible for adding new devices under monitoring
scope, troubleshooting, and backup. The consultant job is to support
Security Monitoring team to Identify, resolve and report any problems in
SIEM that may affect the monitoring and incident management process.
Minimum Requirements
Experience:
o Bachelor degree in relevant subject (Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineer, IT, etc.)
o More than 6 years of experience in information security.
o Previous working experience in a Security Operation Center or Managed Security Service Provider.
o Wide security knowledge in threat management, vulnerability management, security incident management, and risk management.
o Previous experience of creating correlation rules and SIEM fine tuning.
o Two years of experience administering and managing Juniper STRM/Q1labs SIEM Solution.
Skills:
o Computing knowledge on Windows, and Unix/Linux.
o Scripting experience and skills in either Perl or Ruby.
o Experience in dealing with network devices and firewalls.
o Experience in managing and retaining security logs.
o Forensics analysis experience.
o Incident handling experience.
o Ethnical hacking and penetration testing experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Develop and manage project proposals, resources and plans.
• Assign tasks to project members.
• Conduct quality assurance on project deliverables.
• Test, evaluate, develop and implement new computer applications and systems.
• Maintain, enhance and support existing computer applications and systems.
• Implement new and maintain existing computer systems.
• Support computer production systems.
• Troubleshoot system problems and implement resolutions.
• Develop new and enhance existing computer systems.
• Test and evaluate computer systems.
• Evaluate and test off-the-shelf products to ensure their applicability to corporate business requirement.
• Review and analyze user request for computer and communication systems, and recommend solutions to meet customer requirements.

Design, develop, test, install, customize and troubleshoot information
security systems and solutions to ensure protection of IT assets.
• Business functions and requirements.
• Manage data center facilities infrastructure, and support relevant upgrade projects.
• Perform support to operations monitoring of IT systems and problems response and resolution.
• Analyze and approve changes to computing infrastructure.
• Adhere to security and safety regulations and rules.
• Provide continuous improvement feedback on IT operation and support.
• Provide continuous improvement feedback on implemented Business Processes.
