CH2M HILL Project Delivery Manager – Expatriate - Afghanistan
The challenge? Providing exceptional engineering and construction services to government and military clients. Our Project Delivery Manager positions are responsible for directing the execution of construction work within an assigned area for the LOGCAP program. Each day, you will support engineering and construction activities in support of the U.S. Army in one half of Afghanistan. You should be a self-motivated, team-focused individual; preferably with a Masters degree, experience with Contingency Engineering in the Middle East Theater and experience with temporary and semi-permanent construction; and have a desire to grow personally as well as professionally with each project.
Our Project Delivery Managers:
Directly coordinate and have contact with our military clients in a specifically assigned regional area.
Represent the Project team during regional construction review with the Government.
Efficiently manage construction resources across assigned regional area.
Closely coordinate with all Dyncorp staff elements on the project team.
Monitor subcontractor management between construction managers and contracted subcontractors.
Implement Target Zero safety program across assigned regional area.
Monitor and ensure effective quality and risk management across the regional area.
Basic Qualifications
A minimum of 10 years experience in project design, engineering, construction and procurement management.
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
Registered Professional Engineer.
Successful completion of a Background check, Medical Screening and Drug Test.
Position will be filled by a U.S. Citizen or Naturalized Citizen and will require a current Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
