Job Description
Job Purposes: You have to:
generate maximum profitable revenues and passenger volumes for Etihad Airways through directing and focusing the sales team to an agreed plan and activity.
establish presence of the airline as a major quality brand in the market.
Requirements
You must have:
Educated to degree level or equivalent. Business qualifications an advantage.
8 years sales experience, of which 4 should have been spent at a senior level, within an airline or multinational travel company.
Training in account management, sales & negotiation skills, with the ability to coach, train and guide sales executives on best method.
Team leadership skills, positive, energetic, dynamic, and creative.
Ability to work under pressure and to short lead times.
Self starter with strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Good analytical skills to make positive use of broad range of data and information.
Good PC skills include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet.
Responsibilities
You have to
quickly build & maintain profitable sales & market share for Etihad.
secure business from key segments, including the corporate, leisure, wholesale, online & ethnic (or target market) sectors.
recruit, lead & develop a professional, highly effective, & motivated sales team.
drive the successful implementation of corporate initiatives, including GRP.
develop and implement systems to make the sales force effective.
ensure sales activity is within cost of sale targets.
ensure Etihad anticipates and/or responds to market & competitor trends, issues, threats so as to win more sales or to avoid or minimize any adverse impact on sales.

Additional Information: Operating Environment
You must have the right to live and work in Cairo.
You must be able to work remotely and independently without supervision
You must to Prepared to work unsocial hours e.g. to participate in evening customer oriented events
You must Travel as required for training or familiarisation visits etc
Preference will be given to suitably qualified and experienced UAE National for this position.
