Overview:
Embedded controller within a home appliance includes firmware and electric and electronic hardware elements. It controls actuators to operate the appliance and interacts with users as well so the quality control with it directly relates to the satisfaction of the customer.
Position Description:
1. Inspection of controller firmware and hardware when occuring defects in the field.
analysis and tracking the cause of quality defects estimated as a controller cause
make reports and share them with the people in the Korea factory
2. Investigation of controller quality stats in the market field
riding alongside field service technicians
gathering controllers estimated as defects
3. Technical Support to product engineers in discussion with buyers
4. Collaboration to Korea factory persons through frequent communication
controller development department in Korea
Qualifications:
Minimum:
Bilingual (English/Korean)
Bachelor Degree in Electric or Electronic Engineering
Experienced in controller department
Skillful in handling oscilloscopes
Preferred:
Experienced development of home appliances such as refrigerator, clothes washer and electric oven.
Skill of handling data acquisiton tools.
