Job description

The Process Design Consultant II role within Global Wholesale Banking Operations is accountable for the development and improvement of business processes in support of GWBO business strategy, initiatives and performance objectives. Specifically, the role:

              Translates strategy into workable business processes, providing strategic thought leadership to business partners and teammates
              Engages with business partners to analyze, design and improve processes through execution of Six Sigma/Lean methodologies and tools
              Integrates best practices with process design to ensure continuous process improvement
              Designs and implements metrics and controls
              Builds action plans and drives execution
  • Manages cross-regional and global projects
  • Required Skills and Experience:
    · Strong background and experience in process engineering
    · Strong business analytical skills and experience in the use of data to drive business decisions
    · Project Management and tactical execution experience
    · Ability to lead by influencing others in a constructive and professional manner
    · Strong communication and partner engagement skills
    · Greenbelt, Blackbelt or Master Blackbelt certification
    · Experience with DMAIC, DFSS, and LEAN methodologies
    · MS Office skills required. JMP, SharePoint and ARIS skills highly desirable

    Desired Skills and Experience:
                  Experience in effectively manage projects and relationships globally, and in complex operational units
                  Experience in an Operations function and/or environment
                  PMP certification a plus
                  Experience with deployment or consolidation of large, complex technology platforms, and specifically:
                  · Based on the design requirements and the business's overall technical architecture, assist in software/component selection in partnership with the technical architect.
    ·         Work with Technology and Operations partners to create a business process model and system integration flow that supports an information management framework for an end-to-end integrated solution by:
    ü  Defining the flow of data between the applications that must be integrated,
    ü  Mapping business process activities to the applications that support them,
    ü  Ensuring a data object model provides a common structure for mapping the data between the applications, and
    ü  Designing the business process to include tasks, functions, applications, reporting, policy, risk controls, roles reports, BAM views.
    ·         Analyze the use cases and activity diagrams to identify any additional business process management requirements.
    ·         Validate that the application requirements meet overall business process needs and are within the project scope.
