Job Description: Mobility at Cisco is on the M.O.V.E. The Service Provider Mobility Team within Cisco is looking for a Technical Marketing Engineer to work on our cross-business unit SP Wi-Fi Whole Offer Solution Technical Marketing efforts.




The SP Wi-Fi opportunity is a $1.6 Billion dollar market over the next 3 years. The SP Wi-Fi Whole Offer Team is focused on delivering every aspect of an SP Wi-Fi solution to carriers, MSOs and MNOs around the globe.




The Technical Marketing Engineer for SP Wi-Fi whole offer will focus on working with the individual business units and the SP Mobile Architect to drive comprehensive technical marketing activites spanning customer trials, POCs, demonstrations, technical requirements, field & customer training and competitive analysis. Since this is a solution effort, cross-organization collaboration skills, deep understanding of Cisco technology and technical marketing organizations and a strong willingness to drive a "start-up" within Cisco is critical. Activities include but are not limited to:

• Customer / field technical training

• Customer POC/Trial/Demonstrations

• Customer TDM presentation on solution

• Industry standards work

• Technical marketing leadership for solution

• Competitive analysis




The job requires a close working relationship with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Architecture and Product Management teams.




Proven business and technical expertise and extensive product marketing engineering experience.

Demonstrates strategic skills.

Excellent working relationship with press and individual analysts.

Ability to formulate and deliver highly complex presentations internally and externally.




Typically requires BSCS or BSEE or equivalent plus 10+ years related experience.
