Description

We are looking for a Senior Engineer passionate about creating test scripts, test plans and test cases based on product features and operator requirements.

General responsibilities:
Collaborate with software and application developers for technical requirements and manage the creation of test scripts and test cases.
Perform test asset creation, test execution, bug reporting / tracking.
Work in collaboration with Sofware QA lead and program quality manager.
Contributing to the continuous quality improvement activities.


Qualifications

MSc or B.Sc. degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
Strong experience in SW testing with minimum 7+ years of work experience.
Experience in test automation.
Experience in error management.
Proficiency in C++/Java programming.
Experience in developing test scripts for mobile device applications.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Understanding of SW product lifecycle and QA test methodologies.
Proven skills of test case design.
Passion for quality and software testing
Highly proficient in execution of hands-on QA responsibilities
Strong team player, detail Oriented, problem solver
Strong, clear, succint verbal and written communication skills a must.
Must be self motivated and self managed with an eye towards continurious process inprovement.
Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field and 6+ years of relevant experience is required.
Product development or engineering background is a plus
Ability to quickly develop technical understanding of engineering applications and their requirements for effective test planning and issue triaging is essential.
Experience with excel and other reporting tools and their application to trends analysis is essential
Good understanding and knowledge of HTML/JavaScript and related web technologies.
Prior experience with mobile apps and tools is a big plus.
Experience with Issue tracking systems such as JIRA, Bugzilla
Deep knowledge of software development best practices
Must have worked in an Agile environment.
