Overview:
We are currently seeking a Regional Sales Engineer for our CAC Division. This position can be based in multiple locations throughout the northeast.
Position Description:
Responsibilities to include:
Establishing a target list of key design engineers within the assigned territory and refine continuously
Providing ongoing training and education of design engineers regarding VRF technology and LG advantages
Working with design engineers in laying out projects with LG as basis of design, utilizing our LATS design program
Generating favorable LG specifications with design engineers
Assisting engineers in energy consumption modeling for LG VRF versus competitive VRF and versus competitive traditional HVAC designs utilizing Energy Pro software
Assisting local independent representatives in managing sales activities with design engineers
Tracking project status and following up
Managing relationships with design engineers, independent LG representatives and distributors, building owners and mechanical contractors. Design engineer relationships are the primary customer focus.
Qualifications:
BS ME or EE with minimum of 5 years experience as a Sales Engineer calling on consulting engineers in the HVAC industry.
Knowledge of VRF and LEED certification are desired.
