Responsible for assisting the new feature rollout and world wide successful deployment of the Mentor?s place & route solution.
Main responsibilities include: - New functionality validation and gate keep the rollout - Create Custom test case creation for challenging problem areas at next generation process nodes like 45/32/22nm - Create Targeted tests for key functional areas in the tool - Monitoring Quality of Results on the existing test suites - Detailed Analysis and debugging of quality of results for the whole design implementation flow - Assist in creating and maintaining the validation environment using TCL and PERL scripting
Qualification
Relevant experience using design implementation tools or CAD support. Fast and efficient scripting using perl and tcl. Work closely with R&D and FAEs. Excellent debugging and problem solving ability. Real design exposure is a plus.
