Description and Desired Qualifications

CH2M HILL HSE&Q Professional - Expatriate - Afghanistan
The challenge? Helping our projects achieve Target Zero. Our HSE&Q Professionals help support the implementation of CH2M HILL's field and office HS&E program and monitor the implementation of the Project Safety and Quality Assurance programs in accordance with company and client requirements. You should be a self-motivated, team focused professional; preferably with a Bachelors degree, USACE Construction Quality Manager certification, safety certification (CSP, CIH, CHST) and a background in deployed military environments; and have a desire to grow personally as well as professionally with each HSE&Q Professional job.
Our HSE&Q Professionals:

Conduct reviews of potential risks on projects and identify potential mitigation measures.

Perform site assessment, evaluations, inspections, and reviews.

Conduct Site Specific HS&E Training.

Conduct New Employee Site Safety Orientations.

Train and supervise Quality Assurance Technician.

Perform or assist with Incident Investigations.

Investigate HS&E complaints and concerns.

Maintain working knowledge of specific requirements imposed by governmental agencies and CH2M HILL policies and procedures.

Provide regulatory and policy review and interpretation and technical advice.

Recommend improvements to HS&E tools, processes, policies, and training.

Monitor and provide oversight to all work performance on the task order and submit a Monthly Status Report.

May require a Secret Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain).
Basic Qualifications

Associates Degree in industrial hygiene, safety, or related field. (If no degree, an additional 2 years of experience may be substituted for Associates degree.)
Minimum of 3 years related experience in a quality or safety role
Knowledge of continuous quality improvement concepts, principles, and theories for organization-level performance excellence.
Successful completion of a Background check, Physical and Drug Test.
Position may require a current Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
