About the Job:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Toyota Way Development Manager to join Al Futtaim Motors in Dubai. This is a key role that will be responsible for implementing the Toyota Way in Sales and Aftersales so that Al Futtaim Motors becomes a Toyota World Class Centre of Excellence and to drive volume and profit results. The key responsibilities of this roles include:
- Managing projects that get Toyota Retail to become a recognised Word Class Centre of Excellence by Toyota Motor Corporation
- Adopting a highly commercial approach to introduce training solutions to immediate business issues
- Working with Managers and HR to identify learning & training needs within AFM to support individual development and succession planning
- Developing and delivering programmes with processes and controls that support a performance culture across the entire business
- Providing participant performance information and feedback to the Management team
- Supporting Al Futtaim Training Centre in reaching its key performance indicators by adopting a co-operative, supportive and collaborative role
- Consulting with Toyota Retail Sales & Aftersales Management to provide business solutions to deliver Budget performance without compromising customer and employee engagement
- Preparing proposals to address immediate business issues in support of plan - increase volumes, grow revenues, support performance, increase commercial outcomes, improve customer and employee engagement scores
- Engaging, consulting and utilising resources available through the Global Knowledge Centre and Toyota Universities
- Researching and developing recommendations for blended Sales training delivery & resources
- Ensuring culturally sensitive & appropriate delivery content & resources meet all Toyota Retail and participant needs, with particular focus on our Emirati associates
- Engages with the Al Futtaim Training Centre, internal/external clients, Joint Venture companies, regional operations, suppliers and exponents of Retail Sales and Aftersales best practice when and where required
- Works inclusively with HR Business Partners, business trainers, Line Managers and Executives to deliver to gain agreement and share feedback to meet expectations and commercial outcomes
- Manages and reviews Sales and Aftersales Learning and Development performance and acts to continually improve
- Utilises tools and resources that will discover training needs or assess capability standards
- Ensures that Line Managers reach their objective of 2 training days per employee per year
- Serves as a Learning & Development Trainer on key projects, cross functional teams and group rollouts to support AFTC as Toyota Retail priorities allow
