Job description
An experienced Practice Leader is needed for the GBS Global Center of Competence for Telecommunication, Media and Entertainment. Must have the ability to (1) Execute, help sell, and deliver integrated solutions targeted specifically for the Telco industry, for both current IBM accounts as well as new client opportunities, and for both Global Business Services (GBS) and Global Technology Services (GTS),(2) Provide executive level deep Telco Industry subject matter expertise in the areas of end to end business process transformation, BSS/OSS application integration, and Next Generation Network technology. Readiness to travel within the region and globally is required.
Required:
At least 5 years experience in the following areas:
BSS/OSS Software Application Integration
Billing, Mediation, and CRM
Order to Cash end to end process
Service Assurance/Network Management process
Service Delivery Platforms (SDP)
IP Multimedia Systems (IMS)
Independent Software Vendors (ISV)
Network Equipment Providers (NEP)
Next Generation Networks (NGN)
Outsourcing Operations, Applications, and Services
Project management, team leadership, and client relationship management in support of the delivery of business and/or technical project solutions
Guiding & facilitating exec level business decisions & performing business analysis such as quantitative & qualitative analysis, business case development, operations analysis, and/or other solutions
Leadership
Consulting experience
Readiness and ability to accommodate extensive global/regional travel (90% or more)
Bachelor's Degree
Strong written, oral communications and presentation skills in English
Preferred:
Minimum 10 to 15 years of experiences in the Telecom Industry. Proven ability to lead and support large scale complex projects transforming new or existing processes, operations, or solutions.
Proven ability to lead/support large software architecture planning and delivery projects.
Additional information:
This position is open only to candidates resident in the Middle East & African region.
