• Writing articles in perfect English language, amending (re-writing) articles, summarizing written material, organizing and researching projects to tight deadlines. Preparing written material for a publication. Prepare, develop, rewrite and edit copy to improve readability of an article.
• Select local, state, national, and international news items received from wire services
• Read, evaluate and edit manuscripts or other materials submitted for publication and confer with authors regarding changes in content, style or organization, or publication. Writes and rewrites or modifies copy to conform to publication's style and editorial policy. Duties could also include, reading copies to detect errors in spelling and punctuation. Verifying facts, dates, and statistics.
• May write or rewrite headlines, captions, columns, articles, and stories according to publication requirements and initiate or reply to correspondence regarding material published or being considered for publication.
Must have a degree from a foreign (UK or USA) university
