Key Responsibilities:
Administers and supervise building projects awarded to our company, applying knowledge of design, construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials:prepares information regarding design, specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Plans layout of project and integrates engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval
•Prepares scale drawings and contract documents for building subcontractors to integrate their elements in the master plans.
• Administers preparation of shop drawings and conduct periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans.
• May also prepare operating and maintenance manuals, studies, and reports.
• May also use computer-assisted design software and equipment to prepare project designs and plans
• May also direct activities of workers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents
• Choose suitable materials that comply with project specifications and prepare their submittals.
• Advice and search for alternatives that may function as specified materials and of better prices.
• Coordinates activities concerned with other trades and technical issues.
