Description
The candidate will be part of SEG (IAG SW Enabling Group). This group owns the media components (audio, HDMI, video) for Intel tablets, as well as delivering media components to other SoC products. In addition, this group owns the creation of One Trunk Models for several SW components, and driving SW reuse across IAG groups. The candidate will join as a developer in the media team, and will initially focus on DRM implementation, specifically Widevine, and the video stack (decode and encode). Over time the candidate will be involved in the design and implementation of different components of the SoC media SW stack, and in driving the different SoC SW strategies.
Qualifications
Candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science with 4+ years of relevant experience. Masters Degree in Computer Science with 3+ years of relevant experience preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of hands-on experience in software development (C/C++)
1+ years of experience with Linux/Android environments
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with DRM algorithms (PlayReady, Widevine)
Prior experience with DSP programming
Prior experience with firmware programming
Prior experience with the Android video stack (StageFright, SurfaceFlinger, etc.)
Prior experience with the Android security design and implementation
