Position Description
Information
Protection Center Division (IPCD) is in need for an Information
Security Consultant to fulfill ongoing protection requirements in
information security and forensic investigations. This requisition is to
address the requirements to deal with advanced and/or persistent threat
incidents and to assess, use, enhance, and operate the current security
controls and solutions.
The
complexity of today's security environment and the increased number of
security incidents reported around the world demands specialized skills
and knowledge. By investing and capturing the know-how of an Information
Security Consultant, it is possible to maintain a more secure IT
computing environment. This action will help to build a specialized
security staffing plan to transfer valuable knowledge to current and
future staff. Hence developing a strategy for filling in the specialized
position is essential to foster a more secure business setting.
Minimum Requirements
Experience:
o Bachelor degree in relevant subject (Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineer, IT, etc.)
o More than 10 years of experience in information security
o Previous work experience in Security Operation Centers or Managed Security Service Providers
o Wide security knowledge in threat management, vulnerability management, security incident management, and risk management
o Previous experience of networking, computing, and/or programming is preferable
Skills:
o Computing knowledge on Windows, Unix/Linux
o Scripting experience and skills in either Perl or Ruby
o Forensics analysis experience
o Incident handling experience
o Ethnical hacking and penetration testing experience
o Identifying Information Protection needs and able to define System Security
Requirements
Duties & Responsibilities
• Develop and manage project proposals, resources and plans.
• Assign tasks to project members.
• Conduct quality assurance on project deliverables.
• Test, evaluate, develop and implement new computer applications and systems.
• Maintain, enhance and support existing computer applications and systems.
• Implement new and maintain existing computer systems.
• Support computer production systems.
• Troubleshoot system problems and implement resolutions.
• Develop new and enhance existing computer systems.
• Test and evaluate computer systems.
• Evaluate and test off-the-shelf products to ensure their applicability to corporate business requirements.
•
Review and analyze user requests for computer and communication
systems, and recommend solutions to meet customer requirements.
•
Design, develop, test, install, customize and troubleshoot information
security systems and solutions to ensure protection of IT assets
• Business functions and requirements.
• Manage data center facilities infrastructure, and support relevant upgrade projects.
• Perform support to operations monitoring of IT systems and problem response and resolution.
• Analyze and approve changes to computing infrastructures.
• Adhere to security and safety regulations and rules.
• Provide continuous improvement feedback on IT Operations and Support.
• Provide continuous improvement feedback on implemented Business Processes.
