Job Overview
A world renowned Geophysical Service company is currently developing their operations in Angola and are recruiting for an Angolan Lead Geoscientist to manage a team in Luanda.

This is a fantastic opportunity with a large service provider. A big part of our clients work is offshore and onshore seismic acquisition, seismic data processing & imaging, as well as reservoir management and reservoir characterisation services.

They are a fantastic company to work for, and have in the region of 7000 staff worldwide. They are looking for an Angolan Geologist or Geophysicist to be based permanently in Angola for the near future.

They are growing in Angola and they want someone to lead a team and help their growth by another 5 staff by the end of this year. This is an exciting time for our client and joining them now would be a fantastic move.

They need someone with ideally 5-15 years experience and they need to have had some kind of person/team management experience. They need to have a knowledge and understanding of Prospect Generation and 3D Reservoir Modeling. They are ideally looking for an Angolan because they want someone who will stay in Angola for the near future. They will look at people from an Operator background.

Depending on the amount of experience, they would be offering a salary of up to £150K USD per year plus excellent benefits. More importantly this is an opportunity to be Top Management looking after the whole of the Angola operations in the coming years.
