Overview:
We are currently seeking a Controls Technical Specialist. This position will be based in Alpharetta, GA.
Position Description:
Review building specifications for implementation of V-NET control scheme including sequence of operation and functionality of local zone controllers, central controllers, and all gateway components such as BACnet and LonWorks
Commission and provide field technical support for all control components to ensure proper functionality per building specifications.

Provide support for BMS integration issues as needed.
Network with integration technicians, building owners, building managers, and contractors to address any technical issues with V-NET integration.
Utilize BMS proprietary software for the purpose of control sequence assurance.
Create and implement control related design drawings and support documentation for upcoming commercial HVAC projects.
Interface with Controls Engineer and Factory R&D team on unresolved, pending control related issues in the field.
Network with Controls Engineer and Factory R&D team on possible product improvement for US market.
Conduct comprehensive support for controls application to single Ductless Mini Split HVAC equipment.
Assist in development of V-NET controls related training material.
Provide support and training for internal staff as needed.
Generate and conduct control training sessions in both classroom and jobsite settings.
Network with regional sales staff fostering technical relationships within respective coverage regions.
Qualifications:
Degree preferred in electrical, computer, or mechanical engineering.
Technical degree with field controls experience will be considered.
Background and field experience with VRF and ductless Mini splits is preferred, however not mandatory.
Basic networking experience required with routers, HUBS, LAN lines etc.
Must have integration knowledge of BACnet and LonWork devices.
Must be skilled in Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel and Word.
Must also be comfortable and proficient in handling details and documenting business activities.
Travel requirements up to 65%.
